From singing back up to international artist, to becoming an artist in his own right. He competed in both Idols SA and The Voice SA to try and carve his own path in the music industry. The latter being the breaking point for Robin, as he made it to the top 9 of the first ever season of ‘The Voice South Africa’. Since then he has grown as an artists. He not only sings, but acts and produces sold out shows as well.
South Africa has enjoyed not one but 5 installations of Robin’s sold out show “It’s a Love thing.” He has the ability to turn anything idea he has into reality. This is not the only show he has produced, together with Craig Lucas he hosted the first “Unmasked Ball’ in October 2019 and second one during Lockdown at the Spier in 2020. Creating a platform for his fans to dress in their best and come and engage with both him and Craig on a personal level. Lockdown saw less people able to attend the second Unmasked but Robin did not fail to produce a stellar show.
Throughout Lockdown he continued to produce phenomenal online shows. Shows such as. “Lockdown Live” he as created a platform for struggling artists to have an outlet and earn an income; “An Ode To Women” where and Robin and Craig Lucas took a young woman off the street, back into her family home and on the stage with them as they paid tribute to all women during the month of August.
Robin is also the Brand ambassador for Salvage and Co.
